For their ninth annual mainstage production, the Opera Theatre of Weston (OTW) will present Johann Strauss’s delightful Viennese operetta, Die Fledermaus, sung in English. This professional, fully-staged and costumed production will be guest-conducted by San Diego Opera resident conductor, Karen Keltner. Stage director is Diana Stugger, of Stratton. Performances are on Dec. 30, 2007, 2 pm at Rutland’s Paramount Theatre and Jan. 5, 2008, 7:30 pm at the Weston Playhouse.
Also coming is The Happy Prince, a children’s opera in one act, on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, 7 pm at the Weston Playhouse.
