Friends, family, colleagues, and community members gathered at the Patti Kaltsas Education, Arts & Student Center at Stratton Mountain School on Saturday, December 9 to celebrate and honor the latest recipients of The Stratton Foundation’s The Emo Henrich Award. Bill Nupp accepted the 2015 award on behalf of Sky Foulkes, Lee Romano was the recipient of the 2016 award, and Adriane and Alois Lechner proudly accepted their 2017 award. The Jingle Bell

The first weekend of December means The Jingle Bell, a signature charity event for Southwestern Vermont Health Care. Two hundred attendees, dressed in their finest holiday attire, gathered at the beautifully decorated Hermitage Club in Wilmington. The evening was filled with excitement, including a diamond-earring raffle, festive cocktails, a delectable dinner, a thrilling live auction featuring items such as a trip to Cabo San Lucas and tickets to the U.S. Open tennis tournament, and dancing to the New York Players. Ski-QX

Stratton Mountain Resort and WEQX partnered to bring the resort its first-ever alternative rock music festival this winter. Attendees listened and danced along to some amazing bands including Northern Faces and Wild Adriatic at Stratton’s outdoor stage and Grizzly’s, where SKI-QX after parties featuring Juiceboxxx were hosted each night. There’s no better way to unwind after an exciting day on the slopes than with some great music, tasty refreshments, and good company…

Manchester Merriment

The town of Manchester embraced the holidays once again this year with a series of Manchester Merriment events that helped inspire the spirit of the season. On November 25, residents and visitors alike gathered for the Community Tree Lighting on the Factory Point Town Green. The celebration included carols, visits with Santa, holiday treats, and, of course, hot cocoa. The festive fun continued on December 2 with the annual Lighted Tractor Parade where vintage and new tractors decked out in holiday finery and lights set off from MEMS spread holiday cheer around town. Other Manchester Merriment events took place through New Year’s Eve and included concerts from Taconic Music, Historic Holiday Inn Tours, the Manchester Lions Elf Express Train, and more, each contributing to the unique spirit that comes with the holiday season in Southern Vermont…

Snowlight in Vermont

Thanksgiving weekend welcomed in the ski season with a healthy amount of snowfall that coated the Stratton Mountain Village in a glistening blanket of white and made it the perfect backdrop for the 2017 Snowlight in Vermont ceremony. ITVFest 2017

The Independent Television Festival’s first year in Manchester was met with both excitement and enthusiasm.
