Six weeks of holiday charm to embrace the spirit of the season. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and in Manchester that means welcoming the winter holidays in festive style. Look for new additions to the list of Manchester Merriment events as the season approaches.

Holiday Inn Tours

Walk through history and learn more about some of Southern Vermont’s most famous inns during this magical time of year. Inns throughout Manchester, Dorset, and Arlington will be open for visitors. Each location plays host in a unique way, making for a cozy and fun Saturday afternoon in the country. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit The Community Food Cupboard.

 

Lighted Tractor Parade
Dec. 8
5:30pm
Parade will loop from Manchester Elementary Middle School along School Street, south on Bonnet Street, east on Main Street, and turn down Memorial Avenue to return to the start. Judges and viewing stand in front of Factory Point Place on Main Street.

Lions Club Elf Express Train
Dec. 15 & 16
This whimsical holiday train departs from r.k. Miles Depot Station and takes its riders on a one-hour enchanting journey through the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont.
